Congratulations to Maddie Walker, Amelia, who finished 4th at the Division I OHSAA State Cross Country Meet held on Saturday. Maddie’s time was 17:42.6. Great Job!

Congratulations to New Richmond High School Football who advances to the second round in the OHSAA State Football Playoffs. New Richmond beat Mt. Healthy 35 – 33 in the first round. The Lions will play Trotwood-Madison in the second round at Mason High School on Saturday, November 12th at 7:00pm. Contact New Richmond HS Athletic Department for ticket information.

Congratulations to two of our SBAAC member schools who were recipients of the 2015 – 2016 Respect the Game Challenge given by OHSAA:

Clermont Northeastern High School
Norwood High School
There were only 16 schools in the state of Ohio that received a sportsmanship award and both Clermont Northeastern and Norwood were out of 11 schools receiving the Respect the Game Challenge award.

Saturday, November 5th – Football Playoffs – Congratulations and Good Luck!

Blanchester will play at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy on Saturday at 7PM. Blanchester finished 8th in Region 20.

New Richmond will host Mt Healthy on Saturday at 7PM. New Richmond finished 3rd in Region 12.

Check the Southwest District web page for updates of post season OHSAA Tournaments. Go to www.swdab.org to check schedules. Good luck to our teams remaining in post season play.

The “Standings” page has the final standings for both the American and National Division in Golf, Girls Tennis, Cross Country, Volleyball, Boys Soccer and Girls Soccer. Football has one week to go to determine champions.

Check out the “All-Star” page to view the Fall All-Stars in all sports listed above, with the exception of Football, which will be added next week.

The SBAAC First Team All-Star Banquet is scheduled for Wednesday, November 9th at Hamersville School in Hamersville. The banquet starts at 6:30pm. Parents and 1st Team All-Star athletes should contact their Athletic Department for ticket information.

The Standings Page has been updated with the scores from the four 9-hole league matches and the 18-Hole Tournament. Congratulations to Clermont Northeastern, SBAAC National Division Champions and Batavia, SBAAC American Division Champion. Coach Brandon Hoeppner is the “Coach of the Year” for the National Division and Lance Sininger, Sophomore from Georgetown is the “Player of the Year”.  Coach Randy Jones is the “Coach of the Year” for the American Division and Garrett Gray, Senior from Goshen is the “Player of the Year”.
