Clinton Massie, East Clinton and Wilmington will be members of the SBAAC league in the fall of 2017. This announcement comes after the approval given from each of the school’s Boards of Education. We welcome the new schools to the SBAAC league!
Spring Sports are in full swing. Tennis scores will be updated in the Twitter Feed as scores are called in. Go to the Standings page to check on Baseball and Softball scores. Track and Field updates can be accessed through your local school’s website. Good luck to our teams and individuals!
At a special meeting held on March 17th, the Executive Board of the SBAAC voted unanimously to accept the applications of Wilmington, Clinton-Massie, and East Clinton for membership in to the SBAAC beginning with the 2017-18 school year. The membership of these three schools is pending upon the approval by their respective Boards of Education. Both East Clinton and Clinton-Massie were members of the SBAAC previously.
The current members of the SBAAC are Amelia, Batavia, Bethel, Blanchester, Clermont Northeastern, Felicity, Georgetown, Goshen, New Richmond, Norwood, Western Brown, and Williamsburg. Amelia and Norwood will be leaving the league after next school year.
The Winter Sports Award Banquet was held on Tuesday, March 1st at Hamersville. Go to the All-Star pages for winter all-stars.

Congratulations to the Western Brown Wrestling Team who were the 2016 Region 15 Dual Champions and OHSAA Duals Elite Eight. The SBAAC is very proud of this accomplishment.

Congratulations to Western Brown Wrestling team. They are the 2016 OHSAA Team Duals Division II Regional Champions! They will wrestle at St. John’s Arena on Feb 14th in Columbus, OH. The SBAAC is proud of your accomplishment!

Check the schedule pages for your teams games and the standings page for updates in Boys and Girls Basketball. Academic Team will begin their season in January and the Enquirer Sports page can give you information on Wrestling Invitationals and Holiday Tournaments coming up in the next few weeks.
The SBAAC will be losing two of our member schools starting in the 2017 – 2018 school year. Amelia HS will be consolidating with Glen Este to create West Clermont HS and will be joining the ECC Conference. Norwood will leave at the same time and go to the MVC Conference. Both schools have been a great asset to our league and wish them well moving forward. The 2016 – 2017 school year is unchanged. These changes will not take place until the start of 2017 – 2018 school year.
The SBAAC Leadership Conference held at Blanchester HS this past week was a great experience for many of our athletes. Every school in the league sent six athletes and a coach for a day of training and inspiration brought to them by guest speaker, Tim Wiese.Thanks to Blanchester for hosting and Goshen for providing lunch for the participants.
Congratulations to Maddie Walker, Amelia who finished 12th at the OHSAA State Cross Country Meet. Great job!

Congratulations to the SBAAC schools who have done well in the OHSAA Post season tournaments. The results of all Fall Sports in post season competition are posted on the Southwest District website (www.swdab.org) Good Luck to our teams still competing.
The SBAAC Cross Country Meet will be held on Saturday, October 17th at Goshen HS. The results will be posted on the “Standings Page” following the meet. Check the website for updates on results and all-stars starting the second week of October as fall sports move into post season state tournaments.
Standings in the SBAAC for Fall team sports (Football, Volleyball, Girls and Boys Soccer) are posted on the “Standings” page listed above. For the individual sports (Golf, Cross Country, and Girls Tennis), check with your local school district for week to week scores and results. The league standings will be updated as information comes in.
Blanchester HS will host the SBC Girls Tennis Invitational on Saturday, August 15th and Monday, August 17th. The tournament begins at 9AM on Saturday. Check with your local Athletic Department for the schedule of when your team plays. Good luck to all our league schools.

The 2015 – 2016 School Year is not too far away and Fall Sports will begin practices and scrimmages soon. Many of our schools hosted summer clinics and camps with much success and are gearing up for the upcoming season. As an athlete, it is important to make sure your physical is up to date and paperwork is complete. Check with your school’s Athletic Department about Parent/Team Meetings and other pertinent information.
The SBAAC is a proud member of the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association). Our district affiliation is the Southwest District of the OHSAA. You can access the websites of both of these associations through our “link” page. There is a lot of valuable information for parents, fans, and athletes on the websites and we encourage you to visit them.
